Dancing with the Stars mamboed their way to best competition show while Keeping Up with the Kardashians took home best docu-series at the 2009 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards. "I have the best job in the world," Kim Kardashian said at the fourth annual ceremony.Host Vivica A. Fox opened the show with a Kill Bill spoof and red carpet correspondent Lance Bass delivered his take on the Real Housewives' tune "Tardy for the Party" -- "I'm Overdue for the Flu." Fox, with Bass, kept things light and festive, except when it came to the Gosselins. Nominated for favorite OMG moment, Jon & Kate Plus 8 were booed throughout the ceremony. Luckily for them, America's most famous family had more serious matters to deal with this week.

One topic that didn't make it to air was Fox Reality Channel's recently announced plans to close their doors in March. The news was thankfully announced the day after the ceremony's taping, maybe so as not to put a damper on the celebration.

With a genre as large and as varied as reality TV, it only makes sense that the night's winners had very different reactions to their new hardware.  Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd of Big Brother 11, who were crowned favorite duo, said they were just happy to be there. "This is our 15 minutes so why not soak it all in," Schroeder said on the red carpet. "It's hard to swallow," said favorite villain winner Wes Hayden from The Bachelorette. Hayden's distaste for his "villain" label may explain why he's in talks with NBC for a new show.

When it came to the night's special honorees, inaugural innovator award honoree Paris Hilton just keep it simple. "Loves it. That's hot," Hilton concluded after receiving the award from sister Nicky Hilton. Legend award winner Jonathan Murray delivered a more somber speech. "It takes a lot of courage for people to live their lives in front of the camera 24/7," he said. Murray especially thanked past Real World stars such as Pedro Zamora and Ryan Conklin for educating viewers about AIDS and the war in Iraq, respectively. "Reality TV can also be illuminating."

Other winners included So You Think You Can Dance's Nigel Lythgoe for favorite judge/host, Terrell Owens for favorite performer, Mark Long of The Duel 2 for really totally robbed and Orange County Housewife Gretchen Rossi for favorite hottie. OMG moment winners Frangela, of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, summed up reality TV's big night best when they gave kudos to co-winner Spencer Pratt for his bad attitude. "We want to thank Spencer for being himself.”
